Windows XP Display Resolution Instructions

To Change Resolution

  1. Right click anywhere on your desktop

  2. Left click "Properties"

  3. Left click the "Settings" Tab

  4. In the "Screen resolution" section, slide the selector to the right to increase the resolution.  The higher the numbers, the more information will fit on your screen.  You may have to restart the computer if asked to do so.  Don't worry, you can always change your settings back.

To Change Windows Fonts Size Settings

  1. Follow steps 1,2, and 3 above

  2. Click the "Advanced" button toward the lower right hand corner of the dialog box

  3. In the area marked, "Display," under "DPI setting," use the dropdown box to select Normal size or Large size fonts

  4. Normal fonts will enable most web sites to appear as intended

  5. Restart the computer

  2. In the upper right hand corner, under "Tasks," click "Adjust font size (DPI)"

  3. Seclect either, "Default scale (96 DPI)," or "Larger scale (120 DPI)"

  4. Default scale will enable most web sites to appear as intended

  5. Restart the computer if asked to do so.
